As we know, beauty is one of the worlds fastest growing categories and it is reaching a new heights with nano-bots. These tiny robots known as nano-swimmers are used to deliver ingredients such as nutrients and medicines from inside the body. This technology avoids invasive procedures and is said to be the next big wave in beauty over the next decade. (Source: WGSN)
A nano-particular is atomic in size, just 1 billionth of a meter. To put that in perspective, a single blood cell is 5,000 nano meters. Nanotechnology has seen the largest breakthroughs in the medical field thus far leading to developments for detecting disease, substance delivery and preventative research.
A United Kingdom based company called Bio-Nano Consulting have developed a kidney disease biosensor (looks like a pregnancy test) which can be self-administered in the privacy of your own home. The same nanotechnology is also being used to treat cancer by killing only the cancerous cells with no risk to the healthy cells. Now this tech has made it into beauty and we are delighted.
Nanotech comprises science, engineering and technology conducted at a nano-scale, revolutionizing the way we collect data, diagnose, detect and treat illnesses.
These nano-bots are essentially tiny robots that literally swim through fluids and deliver drugs and nutrients to targeted locations. They have shown huge potential in smart drugs and will lead to the prevention of not just illnesses, but even aging, leading us to the era of super-humans.
Scientists use nano-skilled diamond particles allowing researchers to study our bodies in greater detail, even crossing the blood brain barrier.
The nano future is upon us
